Opening comments:  More at the end.

Part of a larger story made up of short stories BUT one where the wording had to be changed between versions so it would not sound like a monster had been unleashed
("he's a meat-eater who can rip your arm off."), from the Roy Ivor bird Sanctuary.
Oh, yes brave men grab your guns and patrol the streets for there is a flying monster from Mexico that is going to be  attacking our the children & woman folk - by ripping their arms off and flying away - (come back for the rest later, burp!)
How is it that so-called creditable reporters print this kind of stuff?  Oh, yes, we are talking about humans.
The next version of the facts.

Rare eagle a danger to thief, owner says

A word of warning to the thief who stole Bernice Inman's Mexican eagle - he's mean, he's hungry and he's a meat-eater who can rip your arm off.

"He's friendly enough as long as you don't enter his territory," Inman said today. "But he could be very dangerous."

The rare Caracara was stolen from Inman's private Winding Lane Wild Life Sanctuary in Mississauga last week.

Inman is offering a reward for the return of her $6,000 bird, one of only two of its kind in Ontario.
